Painting with Balloons

I think Vanessa will be delighted to have a go at this! She might not even need a balloon… she would probably happily hop into the paint herself to make her own prints!

Materials needed

• Paints

• A paint pallet: a tray / a plate 

• Balloons

• Paper

• A pen if you want yo add details to your prints once the paint has dried

Blow your balloons so they are really small, it will be easier to handle.

Put a few blobs of paint into your paint tray / plate.

Use your balloon to pick up some paint and print it onto the paper! Have fun trying all sorts of ways to fill your page, you can make patterns, make just one big splotch, mix paint colours…

When your balloon prints papers are dry, why don’t you use pens to add features and create characters?
